The mission behind our paint events are in our name... so anyone can experience painting. You do not need any prior experience, and if you're 'not arty in the slightest' then you're the perfect person to attend our events. Every step is broken down in a really relaxed, non-judgemental environment with one goal.. to experience painting something you'd like to paint. Events run for around two hours, using a colourful spectrum of paints and perfect for date nights, double dates, girls night out and solo nights out too. It's a great way to unwind after work by yourself, with your family or your loved ones. Imagine this... you're sitting in your local surrounded by great company, the vibe is relaxed and light hearted and you're painting something fun and colourful. You've been guided step by step how to paint your canvas and you're thinking to yourself painting is a lot easier than you previously anticipated. A painting is starting to unfold before you, layer by layer, and after 2 hours you have finished your painting, whilst swigging away at your favourite tipple. You can't believe how different everyones interpretations are, and they all look great! You leave the experience feeling happy and excited to take your painting home for your friends, family or pet to see 🖼

Whatever you want! Our EP Aprons are there to protect your clothing for every painting experience, just bear in mind accidents can happen so we would steer clear from your best clobber or any crisp white garments. All events are casual, but please dress up if you should wish!

Although the ticket is for the paint event only, each venue has a bar for your to purchase your tipples for the duration of the event.

For our regular monthly events, the duration is around 2 hours from 7pm - 9pm. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the start time to secure your seats and grab yourself a drink ready to start your masterpiece! Private events are bespoke and can be any time of the day. Please get in touch for a quote using our quotation form.

We understand life can be unpredictable and things can happen. Unfortunately, all ticket sales are final and we cannot offer refunds for attendees who wish to cancel their tickets. However, with enough notice, we can attempt to transfer your ticket to another event. Please note that transfer requests can only be made once, and a small rebooking fee will apply. All transfer requests must be submitted via email to hello@experiencepainting.co.uk If the attendee is rebooking more than 72 hours before the event, the rebooking fee is £5 per ticket. Less than 72 hours before the event to the day of the event, the rebooking fee is £10 per ticket. If we or the Artist needs to cancel or reschedule the event, a full refund will be issued, or you will be offered the chance to transfer your ticket to a rescheduled date. Refunds or rescheduling tickets will not be issued for no-shows. For more info please read our terms and conditions.

No - not at all. Art is subjective and you're welcome to do whatever you like with the colours on your palette. Adding your own interpretation is part of the process of experiencing painting your creation, in fact it's encouraged! We love to see people adapt whatever they feel necessary 🎨 The steps and technique will be explained to you regardless, it's up to you whether you'd like to add a bit of your own finesse to your canvas.

Whilst our public events are suitable for age 14 and above, age limits are normally at the venues discretion and some venues may want over 18s only. Please get in touch for information on a specific venue/event and we can help. If you have younger children, we offer private parties for children, and family events where you and your children can paint together 🎨 please see our private events page for more information.

Don't worry! Our events are suitable for all, whether you're a little more introverted or would like to attend solo to unwind after work. We do not organise any group introductions or presentations when you paint. We have an optional group photograph at the end of each event which you're not obligated to take part in if you don't want to. Everything is optional, even down to what you paint! Every event is a judgement free zone and somewhere we want you to feel comfortable at all times.

Yes! If you're too far to travel, or have a group of people at your workplace wanting to experience painting - we can bring that to life.

Of course! We welcome families and understand it can be a lovely night out with mess you don't have to clean up at home! Private events are suitable for ages 6+ Public events are suitable for ages 10+ but please get in touch with us if you're bringing anyone under 18 to a venue that serves alcohol, the venue may have their own rules on entry.
